Since 2020, Taiwan has been developing cybersecurity through an initiative called the Six Core Strategic Industries. To help accomplish this mission, The National Science and Technology Council established the Cyber Security & Smart Technology R&D Building. Since opening on April 24, 2021 in Shalun, Tainan, this building has been cultivating public-private sector collaboration to develop cutting-edge technology in cyber security.
