AI Application Building

Responsive image The AI Innovation and Application Building, located within the Artificial Intelligence Industrial Zone under the jurisdiction of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), is a five-story steel-structure building with two underground levels. The building is designed and constructed to meet Diamond-grade Green Building and Gold-grade Smart Building standards. It is equipped with advanced systems including renewable energy, smart parking management, a fiber-optic backbone communication network, solar photovoltaic (PV) power, and all-vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) energy storage.
Responsive image The design strategically leaves an entire floor space open to create a central corridor, which is accessible to the public. This design ensures favorable wind passage that extends northward towards the grassy plain. The presence of the forest on the northwest side and the Cybersecurity Building acts as a buffer, minimizing mutual impacts and noise interference between buildings. Furthermore, a central walkthrough corridor allows the New Product Launch Center on the west side to appear visually transparent from all four directions, maximizing its exhibition and promotional effectiveness as well as public exposure. Solar panels and a rooftop green garden platform are installed, complemented by deep eaves and exterior shading systems to achieve thermal insulation and energy efficiency, enhancing the comfort of the R&D area. This building also features all-vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs) for the conversion and storage of renewable energy, as well as for storing off-peak conventional electricity, which is then released to supplement power during daytime peak hours. For landscaping, a landscape pond and moated ecological grass swales are established. These water features serve as natural wilderness and ecological habitats, while also functioning as a base flood detention pond and an emergency water source for firefighting. Landscape lighting primarily utilizes anti-glare fixtures to provide a comfortable nighttime outdoor experience. By benchmarking international standards and embracing diverse, innovative thinking, the goal is to create a globally forward-looking hub for chip innovation.

To strengthen the intelligent facilities of the Cybersecurity and Smart Technology R&D Building within the Artificial Intelligence Industrial Zone, the AI Innovation and Application Building undergoes comprehensive integration and enhancement of district-wide smart infrastructure. Its goal is to provide international tenant teams with a premium R&D environment. The scope primarily includes the R&D and integration of smart monitoring systems, building management systems (BMS), smart security systems, and the refinement of ICT service systems. These allow management personnel to utilize intelligent methods for real-time tracking of the operation, location, and maintenance of critical infrastructure, ensuring the normal functioning of all subsystems. In the event of an emergency or disaster, the building’s maintenance and management staff can make rapid decisions and perform swift repairs to ensure the restoration of critical infrastructure. This approach establishes a resilient and intelligent building management model
